Flame » in reply to Boscovich's theory

Interesting reason.

Reading the post it seemed as if he believes Einstein's methodology was faulty and led to some errors which were corrected arbitrarily in order to make the theory work. And the guy seems to have a valid starting point. Einstein's comments over the years on his Cosmological Constant seem to fit the math errors described by the post.

The fellow didn't seem particularly hostile, wasn't directly attacking personalities. He disagrees with the "Einstein crowd" but didn't get personal. He kept his post on-topic.

I certainly think he's stretched his issue to where it broke, but I don't see it on Flame. If the criteria is that everyone agree with a poster or it's off to Flame most posts on CE would be here.

I certainly trust the moderator's judgment, and in fact wouldn't have written this post if this action just didn't seem so out of character to me. With my limited understanding of the issues.
