Yeah, well.
I know I could do a better job than some parents. There was a kid in the grocery store, probably 7 or 8 whining and whining, "I want it. I want it." They were one aisle over and it was damn tempting to say, "Waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh." Loud enough for the little whiner to hear.
I always thought we raised our kids as we were raised. I can tell you that not one of us three girls would EVER have gotten away with whining crap like that at the grocery store or anywhere else in public. We'd have been removed from the premises and smacked on the butt.
