Aren't you rich enough? Aren't your physical needs, you and your family's security, prosperity and even luxury already guaranteed in perpetuity? What drives this sort of all-consuming and unseemly need for power and control that allows you to take such risks, not just with your reputation, freedom and personal honor but with the hard-earned fortunes of thousands of others? What kind of pathology is this? What's in it for you? It can't just be the money, there must be some other factor, some kind of malignancy.

I can only hope the charges against you are false, or that perhaps your problem is only one of pride or overconfidence, or perhaps you misjudged and lost control and painted yourself into a corner without meaning to. Could it just be incompetence? No, I doubt it. There are too many others like you. You and your kind are alien to me. You're another species altogether.
