We're freezing our aspirations off here in Missouri!
It's going down to 8 overnight, -25 wind chill. Someone down the street's going to the Chiefs game tomorrow. They'll be SORREEEEEE! Brrrrrrrrrr.
I had my eggnog and rum and am now roasting myself before a fire. My kitties are napping and maybe I'll do that myself.
Met my new neighbor tonight. He seems to be a nice guy.
All is well with my world tonight. I'm safe and warm and have two little guys with whom to snuggle.
I think, though, about those who have no home, no food, nothing to which to look forward. I'm wondering if some homeless here in KC will die tonight from the cold. No one should have to be alone, cold and hungry. No one should die that way.
