It's a song parody sung by someone doing a voice imitation of Al Sharpton, and based on this L. A. Times column. The idea is that Sharpton is dismayed that someone like Obama can catch the brass ring after "authentic" black people like himself have been bypassed after years of effort.
It's usually safest to assume the media has no real idea what they're talking about on most subjects.
