It's my understanding that anyone one who could be called conservative have not been in control of Congress for at least 2 years.
Wiki:
"Republicans currently fill a minority of seats in both the United States Senate and the House of Representatives, hold a minority of state governorships, and control a minority of state legislatures."
"If you are wondering who voted for the Wall Street Bailout in the House of Representatives, just take a look at the list below. It’s disappointing, but 263 members voted for the bill earlier today.
Democratic
172 (aye)
63
Republican
91 (aye)
108"

From your article:
"The relentless march toward tyranny in the United States and other nations with a heritage of freedom, underscored by the blatant criminality of the recent bailout package implemented against the political will and interest of the populace, seems to portend a terrifying future for humanity. It leaves us in a no man's land between the familiarity of our previous reality and the uncharted dangers lying ahead."
So, are in agreement with this particular assessment?
If so, how did the conservatives cause this bail out package to pass through Congress?
Or are you counting 172 Dems as actually conservatives?
Who are these conservatives?
Do they include people who don't claim to be conservatives.
Were conservative involved in any way with providing the large amount money to the Obama campaign?
Are conservatives in charge of the NYT, NBC, ABC, MSNBC and other mass media?
