The "$18 billion in bonuses" number is all over the netroots, and this idiot Senator is making hay of it.
However, if anybody ever bothered to check the numbers...ever...they would note that this is the sum of all the bonuses given to tens of thousands of employees at all levels.
The average bonus size was $112,000.
Note that this is well below the $400,000 maximum legal salary proposed by the idiot Senator.
