To be valid a test should give the same results (or close) no matter how many times you take it. I took this one a couple of more times and got my score down to the low thirties.
The ACT test is a good example of a very high validity test. It is very difficult to increase your score by just repeating the test. Even with ACT courses some have a hard time raising their score more than 2-3 points.
Athletes trying to qualify for scholarships sometimes attend special schools for a year after HS to raise their ACT score a few points. You would be surprised how many fail to raise their score even with intensive study and oral versions of the test.
The only sure way to raise your score is to get smarter and that requires more than repetition. When reps make you better it is a game, not a test.
(This doesn't mean I am not in awe of those that made under 30 on the first try) :)
