It's interesting.
It measures perception time and retainment of perception. I'm not sure it accurately measures anything else, much less the age of your brain. The question one has to ask is, "What age does the brain perform optimally for short term perception?" - and there is no set answer for that.
A 5 year old would do poorly on this test. An 80 year old would probably also do poorly.
The lowest number I could out of 3 attempts was 25, so I am assuming that the test thinks 25 is a better than my actual brain age. The 5 number retainment is naturally much harder thant the 3 number retainment, but most brains dislike such repetitive "flash" image puzzles and performance for many will get worse rather than better after repeated tries as the brain starts to store not just the most recent pattern, but combine and store ALL the patterns it sees in this manner.
Leave it to the Japanese to come up with something like this.
I like the choice of short ethereal music at the end though as it calculates.
