re: What is life ?
Life is the presence of energy that takes an active role in its own evolution.
Such energy possesses a sentient quality because it is intelligent enough to now follow an infinite goal - endless evolution.
Sentience has many levels, but life is the beginning of sentience.
Even though you asked, I can't really relate more at this time. In the distant "future" though, this seed should bear beautiful fruit.
