First, this post clearly does not belong on Current Events. Even though you probably believe the stuff in the links (which I won't click on), you also know that it's a hot button issue that's extremely polarized and will result in angry and nasty rhetoric.

You are presenting one side as solely to blame and not including a single word about the excesses of the other.

The issue in that area is now and will always be one where there are infinite fingers to point at individuals on both sides. That's the key word here - individuals. In any conflict between established powers, only a handful truly make the decisions that cause the bloodshed and hatred. The vast majority of the Israelis and the vast majority of the Palestinians are simply caught in the middle.

Just as you are pushing buttons, clearly anyone jumping in with a label of "anti-Semite" is too. Your beef is clearly with the actions of the Israeli state government and the origin of the label had nothing to do with an intense dislike for national policy. In spite of your overreach in pointing the finger squarely at one side, I can tell from your other posts and long history of standing up for the little guy that you are not a bigoted man that holds an entire race or cross-section of people as sub-human.

I would ask that you make that more clear when you bring up an issue like this because, without factoring in your personality, your words in the opening post would be damning.

This is CE folks. Take the potshots and character assassinations to Flame where they belong.
