Why don't you just say what you mean?

So are you saying going back to the 1948 borders?

Yes Israel agreed to those borders - and was then attacked simultaneously by Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. The intention of that attack was to wipe Israel off the map. Tough to honor territorial agreements with armies attempting to destroy you, hmm?

Palestinians do have citizenship in Israel. There are elements of Israeli society who want to deny them citizenship but that is not the case right now. What about citizenship for jews in arab lands? Or for Palestinians in other arab countries???

You have a serious problem seeing any Arab blame in the Arab-Israeli conflict. I don't think Israel has always acted fairly, but I understand their mentality after a lifetime of being under seige. I can also see the Palestinian point of view but I feel they have been utterly failed by their leadership, as well as their so called allies in the arab world.

A return to the 1948 borders is preposterous. A return to the 1967 borders is more reasonable but still problematic at this point.

What do you think about this? Where is a palestinian politician like this?
