What do you think that proves?
Someone could look at that chart and conclude, on the same limited evidence, that when the rich do really well, so do the rest. When the rich were making the most money, so were the poor.
The "wealth gap" is an artificial issue designed to generate political heat. If the lower classes are doing well, who cares what the upper classes are doing?
