Both post on a moment's notice, responding almost immediately to what they perceive as a hostile post, almost as if they were always cruising the Zone on combat patrol; shields up, sensors at maximum range and guns loaded and run out. Both often respond to totally non-controversial posts with a comment that turns the whole drift into a political mode, or otherwise inject ideology into some otherwise innocuous discussion. And both often start threads out of nowhere with a political challenge or downright provocation when things are getting too quiet or the dialogue has drifted into other, less confrontational areas.
The only difference I can detect, and I'm not even sure about this, it's subtle, is that Bowzer's posts seem designed primarily to piss TB off, as if he really believed what he was saying, but didn't really care if anyone else did. TB, OTOH, seems just totally baffled that what is so obvious to him could possible not be immediately apparent to everyone else. He goes into this Daffy Duck mode, a study in frustration. There is a sort of Roadrunner vs Wile E Coyote quality to these two--you know it's true, guys, I don't even have to tell you which is which, you know!
And I'm not talking down to either one of them, I catch myself losing my own sense of proportion often enough to know that I make an ass out of myself too when I get too carried away with politics.
Both seem like really nice, decent people when they're not talking about politics.

Actually, TB and Bowz have a lot in common.
