My apologies for redirecting the thread...but I knew no one here was going to comment and say "Whoa! Buckley is now rethinking his views about Obama...maybe I should rethink mine!" and so I just posted what I was thinking about.

You're living out the role of Eddie Willers here TB - you're crying in front of the broken down train and watching the rest climb on to the horse and buggy. Don't do it to yourself. Not even one member here will realign their views, no matter how clearly you try to point them out.

You bring facts, charts, research to the table - and you think that's wanted? You still play by objective values. And the Obamallucination crowd is anything but objective. It is about emotion about feeling and they feel your facts are trumped by their emotion. If it feels good it must be the right thing to do.

Sure, it's asinine, but hey - you pitching objectivism to confirmed emos is also asinine. We all have our blind spots and crosses to bear.
