Forty Years APOLLO 9 March 3, 1969
It was getting close to the actual Moon Landing and an all out test of the LM and CSM along with the Saturn V was never done so this was the test....Where has the time flown? Seems like only yesterday Spider and Gumdrop were doing the dress rehersals in orbit with that NEAT RED Helmet on the EVA DAVE SCOTT Wore. Fisrt APOLLO Mission where the craft were named to avoid confusion when seperated.
