Plenty of money is going into stem cell research, embyronic and otherwise. I screwed up the first link above, which should have been to this article.
If stem cells are a solution for your problem, it's only an issue if you believe that only Federally-funded programs mean anything in science.
The news today is being interpreted as "now we can finally do embryonic stem cell research," as if the research itself had been totally banned.
