Most of this bailout stuff is waay over my head, even how we GOT here is beyond my comprehension. I figure the banks and "respectable" organizatins and insurance companies are "having their way" with us, and it will be years before we know the true outcome.
Congress no longer commands my respect. They no longer work for "us", but "them".

A lot of people I know are getting serious about this crisis and are trying to be completely out of the credit game. They're headed back to nature.

However, I just got this terrific video about Jim Martinez who advises people on their credit debt. He talks about the inculcation of "credit" and how it affects our image, how we see ourselves, get ahead, and take our place in society. It shows who we REALLY work for. He runs a radio show called Cash Flow, and he has an amazing perspective on everything. I'm watching it twice. I recommend saving the <URL.>
