Computerized sunlight
My image rendering programs have systems where you enter the location of a place, the date, and time, and it will put the sun in the right spot in the sky for that location.
It's primarily used for architecture design, so I don't use it much. I don't think there's a gadget for moonlight, but it would be cool if there was.
