Leave it to you, TB, to find a conspiracy lurking there. But thanks for going to the trouble to look up the raw data.
Incidentally, in a related development, my cousin Robert the Red (aka Bolshie Bob) is no longer speaking to me. He got very upset with me on the phone the other day when he tried to convince me that the Davos/WEF group were the evil capitalist masterminds behind both the Trump and Obama Presidencies. When I pointed out I had a super-conservative internet pal who was convinced the Davos organization was a nest of lefty carpetbaggers and that I wished left and right could get their conspiracy theories straight for once, he was furious. He told me he was sick and tired of my being so flippant (translation: unideological) and overly dependent on abstract academic analyses of historical forces (as opposed to Marxist ones). He told me he was tired of me "going Toynbee" (don't you just love that?)on him, and that he never wanted to talk to me again. I hung up.
Cousin Robert and I have known each other since before either of us knew how to read, and he's kicked me out of the family because I'm not Communist enough to suit him.
