Rush and this lady speak the Conservative message clearly, starkly, and mince no words. "We want power and if we can't have the power we want the country to fail. In fact, we will work to see the country suffers even more than it has as the result of the Conservative agenda in an effort to return to power."
That's it.
However, Conservatives do not like to be held accountable. Conservatives will not accept responsibility. They will claim credit, but not responsibility.
So what do they do? The deny their realists, their strategists, are Conservatives. While following the party line, they will try to claim that these people somehow don't speak for THEM.
Which is, ironically, almost a defining trait of the Conservative. Deny everything, including ones allegiances, friends and ideology if at the moment they are embarrassing.
