"would impose government controls on the pay of all employees -- not just top executives -- of companies that have received a capital investment from the U.S. government"
New boss, new rules. These companies BEGGED for a buyout, now they are griping when the new owners want to run things differently. Remember, this law applies ONLY to those companies on the Government dole, not to financially sound companies, or even unsound companies not on corporate welfare. Reducing pay is a good way to turn a company around, especially reducing executive pay. It is OUR company now, WE the People own it, and we can run it as we wish. If they didn't want interference, they should not have begged for the purchase of their stock.
