NO Realism there, fellas
Look at the way they played ID in the first movie, typical Hollywood plot of death monger aliens out to kill the human race and the scarppy band of humans fighting back with whatever weapons left, now there's a plot line and movie! Sold out to a packed house when we went to see it on JULY 4th, 1996 and everbody cheered when the mothership got BLOWN up..... and besdies, would rather pay my bucks to see ET get his ass kicked with a bang rather than a whimper. Ask Tom Cruise.
