I think Conservatives sincerely believe the country is going to hell, and from their point of view it is.

What I don't understand is how they can doubt it's a direct result of their policies, and that if we keep doing what we've been doing we'll keep getting what we've been getting.

I don't understand how 45 to 50 million American citizens without health insurance is a tolerable situation.

I'm terrified what would happen if they ever got back into power. There's precious little left internally to transfer to the wealthy, but I'm afraid they'd use the resources of the country t try to start another couple of wars in order to expand the Empire. Venezuela comes to mind. Iran.
