Has anyone checked the Kuiper Belt for objects that only show up in
the infrared? I am pretty sure there were searches through the IRAS
database for uncharted IR objects, but I believe they were way beyond
the Sol system.

How about the ISO data too? I would not want to wait around for a
transit, though I am not ruling it out.
