Hi Larry

I think Greg Matloff has made a preliminary search through the available data, but AFAIK there hasn't been a dedicated survey at sufficient resolution that Matloff's original IR-emitting space-colony proposal would require.

There's also interest in figuring out how the OOC distorts the CMB - if at all. That might reveal some anomalies too, but I don't know if there's been any observations tailored for it yet.
