It just kills you we are no longer hated by our long time friends?
We are actually respected and admired again now, instead of reviled. America is no longer the 800 pound gorilla in the room everyone is wondering what to do about. We're actually IMPROVING relations with the rest of the world so we can work with them to solve the world's problems, rather that BEING one of the problems.
You guys think we were somehow safer by being hated than we are by friendly relations and constructive dialogue? It is Bush's policies that have vastly increased the number of jihadists in the world, and made America far more likely to be attacked again.
