I mean really? What has the world done that is so great? What nation deserves this a-- kissing?

Which European nation? Which Asian nation? Which African nation? Which Middle East nation? Which nation in the Americas?

Oh the "world"... that intentionally vague concept personified by the UN. Kiss the world!

Let's kiss the world even though NONE of its component nations deserve such a kiss.

The more you keep track of the various governments, their leaders and activities and look at their accomplishments in any given field of human endeavor, one suddenly awakens to the fact that any a-- kissing should be done with the US as the primary recipient. They could spend fifty years at it and it still wouldn't cover dues owed the US.

And that doesn't happen simply because these nations are not working towards any common good, or elevated human culture but are merely doing what they have always done: serve their own interests at the expense of other nations, loot and all too often diminish human freedom with outright tyranny or the chipping away of human freedom in any given socialist state.

Sure, that may seem unkind - but only until one actually reviews each nation, their leadership and their accomplishments - then one realizes it's not unkind at all - it's an understatement.
