but I am with 6-D phase space (x, y, z, p(x), p(y), p(z)) where p(w) is an orthonormal momentum component in a 3D vector space). Any connection?
For example, Pauli Exclusion Principle forbids any two particles of the same spin from simultaneously inhabiting any hypercube in phase space smaller than a certain volume (h-bar cubed, I think). This is what causes an electron gas to begome degenerate in the core of a star, the classical gas laws no longer apply and increasing density and temperature is not sufficient to generate enough pressure to stop gravitational collapse. The core caves in and the star goes supernova.
But its been a long time since I delved into these mysteries, its all become an electron gas...

I'm not familiar with Minkowski space,
