Perhaps it is because your consciousness grows, and as you and I both understand, the closer to *real* we become, there is very little delineation between the two worlds. You have a gift Eri, and since your retirement you have time. Your health issues have helped catapult you forward into these esoteric happenings (and thoughts) again.
