When I worked downtown, I would ride my bike to the bus stop.

Now I work about 15 miles from home. I could bike that distance, but it would be suicide, as I would have to take, or cross, several freeways. There is no way I would ride a bike in Houston traffic.

Austin, on the other hand, has bike trails going from the neighborhoods into the business area.
