The Traveller

An episode of Star Trek TNG that kindof inspired me as a kid. Don't know why.... something about it rang true.

The Traveler

I've referred elsewhere to Mathematical Space. But, in my view our universe is a small encapsulated part of it. We might access the rest using what I call "Dreamspace". My logic for this is a bit of a fantasy: Dreams follow no consistent logic, and quickly vanish when our awareness of the outside universe intrudes. If that consistency in the logic of reality were undermined, there might be no way to distinguish dreams from reality.

The source of consistent logic within our universe is a little nugget of mystery to me. What is the underlying mechanism governing matter and energy conversion? Are our dreams actually "Schrodinger's Cat" in a box, into which reality intrudes. Does the universe "observe" us, forcing a consistent set of physical laws upon us?

Reality Intrudes Dudes.
