You provide few statistics, no demographics.

In the United States, lynching of black men was once common. If one applies the same pseudologic to that social pattern as you have applied to the outbreak of anti-Semitic violence in France, we should have reinstituted slavery by now. But we haven't. That's because outbreaks of hate-driven crimes, tragic though they be for the victims, are not predictive of the long-term fate of the nation where they occur. The response of the rest of the people who live there is the predictive factor. The French are not taking this lying down. They will have a tough period, but as long as the majority of the French people respond with active outrage and protection of their innocent citizens from these criminal maniacs, France will become better than it is.

Concerning your claims about the left: who are the human rights activists, by and large, hmmm? Just taking the example of oppression of women, were there a lot of conservative groups marching in the streets and funding help for Afghan women in the late 1990s? No. Liberal feminist organizations did that. It took four hijacked airliners and the collapse of two skyscrapers in New York to get conservatives excited about the Taliban.
