Dictionary: "not governed by or according to reason."
There are lots of things that have little or no objective basis. Whether or not someone likes brussels sprouts is purely subjective. Leaving out the possibility of allergies or something, of course.
When you start thinking that everything falls into that category, that there is no objective way to decide "right or wrong," then you've eliminated reason and the mind from the debate, and the one who wins is the one with the loudest voice and the largest club.
There are people who have a lot to gain by a philosophy (using the term loosely) that declares that their random and ever-changing whims are as valid as any other way of judging reality. You really don't want to live in a world where they run things.
