It's a lot cooler, you can skate on them in the winter, and Detroit will get rich making amphibious cars with tire studs. Also you can raise fish in them for food. Fire? Plenty of water to put out a house fire now! We'll pull the water out of the oceans, pump it inland into closed canal systems, and freshen the water with windmill power. That'll keep the oceans from rising, too.

Wow, this is easy.
