Well, might want to ask a veteran today of what it was like being there, dad fought the Battle of the Bulge and was captured Good Fri 1945 by the Waffen SS, made it out but in his dribs and drabs of talking aboutt he wart, he told of the fanatical loyalty the people had for HITLER and how even after the war there was a certain arrogance of them.
