Payback for Making the VEGA
Biggest POS car ever made by GM from 1971 to 1977, they would use oil, rust out even on showroom floors and would overheat if you let the coolant get too low. Only saving grace is they were dirt cheeep in the 70's and the buddy I had in the car towing biz would get them for free or 25 bucks, we would pull the aluminum motor and replace it with a Pontiac 4 cyl IRON DUKE or a Chevy V8 which was a SCREAMER, I had 2 kammback wagons GT and htye were ROCKETS!!!!! Alas they all rusted out or got stressed cracks from too much power adn we junked them. They all dried up in early 80's and I have'nt seen one on the road in 20 yrs or so.
