30 yrs ago, hit tree in backyard that only that morning had a gas grille propane tank near it, unc took it for re-fill that morn(LUCKY)!!!! and the bolt travelled into house thru celler window metal, destroyed frames, then went into hot water heating system and BLEW OUT PLASTER around perimeter of house(60+ ft!) then fried TV's, Turned on Light switches, welded a hole in Refrigerator and set curatins on fire, knocked out phones and TURNED on EVERY FAUCET in home ...even outside!!! Bent up the flanges on the Kitchen faucetts like somebody took pliers to them, and then went over to mom's house next door and knocked pics and zapped our TV but not as bad. All in a fraction of sec, Aunty said it was like being zapped with a Halogen light for a micro sec and then all hell broke loose.....But NO Noise just a Zittttttt type of sound...
