Nice analogy. And it's true. Information that doesn't coincide with their worldview needs to be to swarmed and destroyed.

The cognitive dissonance, my posts triggered here is off the charts. Whether it be the fallacy of the 3.1mm ocean height rise or the fact the Deputy AG just settled in two weeks ago and started to process the firing of Comey.

Disagreeable facts are pure toxin to those who can't update their database.

Perusing the boards before I posted, this place seems like a secret ku klux klan meeting where nonstop vitriol and hate is the reason d'etre for each post and then reinforced with a circle jerk of more hate.

It's actually a great microcosm of the failure of the left in society and the past elections; fanatical and unable to see how they appear to everyone else; isolated, they think their hate is mainstream. Then when their own depart or the ranks don't grow - they blame others.

Hillary still blamed Comey for her failure - well, until he was fired. Clinton, Podesta, Weiner none had any probs at all - they were victims because their true actions and words were exposed to millions. The toxic truth!

Same thing goes on here. "If only those pesky 'conservatives' would stop coming by every year posting their nonsense, this place would be a paradise and thriving with members!"

Looking back I realize this place is really a quasi spin-off of MSNBC and then the hate, dysfunction and aversion to truth all makes perfect sense. ;)
