I've never heard of a rattlesnake climbing a tree to get away from something. I believe they can do it at their leisure if they are after food.

I also think a rattlesnake would have coiled and bitten that rabbit. It looked to me as if that snake could have bitten it anyway.

And I doubt that a rattlesnake would have run from something the size of that rabbit and which was also slow.

I wonder if those people taking the video and talking would have tolerated having a rattlesnake that size around the house. I consider myself to be pretty tolerant of them, but I wouldn't cohabit with one that size.

Great video, though. That is one serious rabbit.
