What would your viable, feasible and painless solution be for eliminating the consequences of population growth?

What is owed by the people who are here now to the people who will be coming in future generations?

Is a quick profit all that matters? That any consequences to society are tolerable as long as a quick profit can be realized?

How would you do it?
