Netanyahu put on the table the obvious: No Israeli politician left or right would allow a palestine with a large army. They also want control of airspace. Israel has legitimate security concerns.

It has been a forgone conclusion for some time that some settlements will go to Israel in the final peace deal in exchange for some land now part of Israel.

The big roadblock is right of return.
