Jackson was addicted to, among other things, narcotics. He was able to get good stuff legally most of the time.
He's reported to have stopped breathing after an injection of Demerol, a synthetic narcotic. They aren't saying who gave him the shot, though only he and his brother Randy are reported to have been there at the time. Nor is any reason for being in the extreme pain which would warrant a Demerol injection being reported.
Narcotics are deadly because they slow down and eventually stop breathing. People simply suffocate. Because people get psychologically habituated to them, it takes more and more to get high but the body's tolerance doesn't build so rapidly. Consequently, death from narcotics overdose is very common.

(I'm aware that some people will say he couldn't have been a drug addict, he was an entertainer, active, worked, etc. He and Elvis were both misunderstood. You are free to continue believing that. I'm simply expressing my opinion, too. B)
Current Events » in reply to I predict his death will be ruled a suicide.
Accidental drug overdose. I'd bet on it.
