ISS flares
Here
The space station (and from 1986 till 2001, Mir) is very regularly visible. With the naked eye.
As soon as I got a TV set with a teletext (1995), I have been checking the visibility chedule ever since.
Since 1999, it's been through the internet.
Nothing is simpler. It's a matter of wanting to do it.
Use a telescope if you are sure it can be moved swiftly.
