At least in El Salvador, Palestinians and other Arabs are called "turco".

I think it's because back in the day they had to immigrate to the country on Turkish passports...

What's weird though is that people will insult Arabs, then go ahead and vote for a Palestinian for President (Tony Sacca).

Just like many Hispanic citizens in America will openly insult blacks, but then turn around and vote for Obama for President.
