Diversity - on the ground

FWIW - I live in Leicester - right near the top in terms of Muslim population in the UK.

I know there is a Mosque not far from my office - but I can't see it. I've never heard it. If you hadn't seen it, you wouldn't know it was there. I've never ever ever had refused service of any sort from Asian staff at the supermarkets here.

I used to live in rural Gloucestershire, about 3 miles from Prince Charles's Highgrove House in a town called Tetbury. As a student, I did summer work on the tills in the tiny (but then, only) supermarket for 15 miles around. Two full summers and I didn't see a single non-caucasian face in that shop.

But life here in Leicester, my liberties, freedoms, etc, with a significant asian population, is no different.

I do agree with what the guy is saying if it were true, but to be honest, I don't think it is. That video is nearly 2 years old.

If I thought Asian staff were taking their foreign standards and inflicting them on our own standards, I would object. Quite simply, I don't think it's happening. Those claiming that it is are not motivated by the facts - I honestly think they're motivated by their own prejudices.
