You are absolutely correct. Palin draws fire, much the way Hillary Clinton did. Some people, myself included, just plain don't like her.

Some of the matters do seem petty. And some of the matters aren't. It's clear the woman has used the Alaska State Treasury improperly, chiselling wherever she could. As one of the McCain staffers commented after the McCain campaign started buying clothes for the family, "It was like the Beverly Hillbillies with a Nieman-Marcus catalog." Those complaints are the only way the citizenry has to protect itself from such folks.

For the woman to blame ethics laws instead of herself is ridiculous. And if that's all it took to drive a politician from office, they could all be removed. Why doesn't that happen?
