If a machine as big as a human brain can process 10 MB of data per second, then it has surpassed the human brain.....And I've read we're not that far from it.

also, a human being is definitely not a godlike being, but rather a finite living organism with limited capacities. One day, it will be surpassed and our emotions might slow us down more than help us prosper.

Also, I fear our belief we're still way beyond any artificial intelligence has a lot do with our belief we're superior. But are we?
