Democratic definition of "bipartisan:" Republicans doing what the Democrats want.
The Democrats aren't interested in any solutions that don't cede control of the entire health care system to the State. Even their "private alternatives" will be so chained with regulations and mandates that for all intents and purposes they might as well be part of the government system.
This does not mean there are no other ideas.
It's probably a good sign that leftist idiots like Conason are starting to get pissy that their socialist bandwagon isn't picking up the speed it's supposed to--with even many Democrats dragging their feet now.
