Got the glasses, have a plan...

My Sister-in-law sent the glasses for my recent birthday, two pairs of nice plastic ones and a half-dozen cheaper cardboard ones just in case you need to pass them out.

Mrs. P and I both have family and friends in the SE so we'll be down there, probably in North Carolina, on top of a Blue Ridge Mountain. While it will not be at totality at our intended viewing site (99.54%), it'll be damn close and we'll have a view of the shadow as it sweeps eastward over South Carolina's piedmont and down to the low country. That, and we'll not have to drive anywhere.
